What This Means for Local Sports

For Kuwait's municipal leaders, hosting an international sporting event like the Padel Major is an opportunity to boost the local economy and enhance international visibility. Such events not only attract tourists and sports enthusiasts, but also stimulate interest in sports among the youth, aligning with the country's broader youth engagement strategies.

City officials should consider how to leverage this increased interest in padel and other sports to develop local talent and infrastructure further.
